Spoke 9 and iNEST
Digital Twins for a new innovation ecosystem paradigm.
Spoke 9 is one of the nine thematic nodes that structure the research activities of iNEST (Interconnected Nord-Est Innovation Ecosystem), a new model of innovation ecosystem based on the extensive use of Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) and digitalization.
The other Spokes of iNEST focus on mountain ecosystems, the food and manufacturing industries, sustainable architecture and environments, creative industries, agri-food, and maritime and marine technologies. The shared goal of all iNEST Spokes is to develop innovative technologies that promote human well-being, cultural dissemination, and economic and entrepreneurial growth.

The booklet, updated in March 2025, presents all relevant data in a clear and structured format, providing a comprehensive overview of the progress of Spoke 9 to date. It includes the outcomes of scientific research initiatives, the status of Cross-Cutting Activities, and a detailed breakdown of allocated funding.
