Spoke 9 concludes its activities with an event dedicated to digital twins
Researchers from the affiliated institutions will be involved, together with the companies benefiting from the cascade fundings

iNEST Spoke 9 has concluded its activities: on 22nd and 23rd January, the main results of the work carried out will be presented during the final event Methods and Computational Technologies for Digital Twins. A state of the art for iNEST Spoke 9, to be held at SISSA.
The afternoon of 22nd January will be devoted to presentations by the affiliated institutions on the results of the research conducted within the four Research Topics of the Spoke: mathematical and numerical modeling (University of Padua), model order reduction (SISSA), automatic learning (University of Trieste), and applications of digital twins to industry, medicine, the environment, and daily life (OGS). Particular attention will be given to future perspectives on digital twins, with a talk by Andrea Manzoni (professor at Politecnico di Milano).
On the morning of 23rd January, the winning projects from the two rounds of Spoke 9 Cascade Funding Calls will be presented. This will provide an opportunity for the beneficiary companies to share their experience in developing innovative solutions based on digital twins, fostering dialogue between the research community and the productive sector.
