The pilot version of TCube, the platform developed by iNEST Spoke 9 as part of Cross-Cutting Activity 2 to foster dialogue between research and industry, has recently been updated with significant improvements that enhance its effectiveness and user experience.
One of the most noteworthy new features is the chat history: it is now possible to resume previously interrupted conversations, avoiding the need to rephrase requests each time and making the research process more efficient.
In line with the platform’s mission, the response layout has also been completely redesigned: TCube now presents the three most relevant scientific articles based on the user’s request, highlighting their authors directly in the responses. More detailed information about each article, such as title and summary, can be accessed through an expandable view with a simple click. This approach improves readability and allows for more streamlined content consultation.
Additionally, TCube can now clearly indicate whether the information provided comes from its own knowledge base, increasing transparency and trust in the interaction. It also analyzes the context of the user’s request before returning results, ensuring more accurate and targeted responses. This update marks an important step toward a platform that is even more interactive, intelligent, and user-centered, reinforcing its role as a strategic tool to promote the connection between scientific research and industrial applications.
