13th National Conference on Science Communication

It will take place in Trieste from 28th November to 1st December 2023 and will include a panel discussion featuring iNEST

The 13th edition of SISSA’s National Conference on Science Communication will take place from 28th November to 1st December 2023 in Trieste, Italy.

With about 40 events and 140 speakers, the National Conference represents an opportunity for scholars and professionals in the sector to exchange views at the national level.

A panel discussion, titled Can There Be Innovation Without Communication?, is part of the Conference’s program. It is scheduled on December 1st at the Revoltella Auditorium.

During the panel discussion, iNEST—along with other projects belonging to the National Plan for Recovery and Resilience—will be presented. Speakers will include Elisabetta Delponte (a Digital Communication Strategist that has been dealing with AI and technology for over 20 years), Francesca Iannelli (journalist and spokesperson for Caterina Petrillo, President of Area Science Park), Prof. Gianluigi Rozza (Spoke 9 coordinator), and Massimo Sideri (columnist for Il Corriere della Sera on science, technology, and innovation, as well as founder and director of the Corriere Innovazione magazine), moderated by Luca De Biase (journalist and columnist for Il Sole 24 Ore and La Svolta, as well as director of the Media Ecology Research Network of Re-imagine Europa in Brussels).
