The Italy meetup of the Learning on Graphs conference 2024 sets off today
Two Spoke 9 mathematicians are among the organizers. SISSA and iNEST are sponsors

The Italy meetup of the 2024 edition of the Learning on Graphs (LoG) conference kicks off today, 4th December, at the Department of Information Engineering and Mathematical Sciences at the University of Siena. The iNEST Consortium and SISSA are sponsors of this local branch of LoG24, organized by ten PhD students, post-docs, and researchers; among these, two recruits from iNEST Spoke 9 are included: Federico Pichi and Giuseppe Alessio D’Inverno, both from SISSA.
LoG is an annual conference that covers areas broadly related to geometry and graph machine learning, a subset of machine learning algorithms that perform predictive analysis starting from data structured as nodes linked to each other, highlighting relationships and interactions between entities. The Italy meetup of LoG24 will be a promising environment for Italian mathematicians working in these research areas: during the three-day event, they will have the opportunity to attend numerous talks by top Italian experts in the field and establish social connections with one another.
