Digital Twins for a Sustainable Economy: upcoming course for companies by SISSA
Registrations are open until 22nd September
Trieste, 26th August 2024
In the modern industrial world, enhancing efficiency and sustainability is essential. To address these needs, SISSA, in collaboration with the University of Trieste, the University of Padova, and OGS, presents the “Digital Twins for a Sustainable Economy” course. This series of lectures is aimed at Italian Northeastern companies and is part of the initiatives of iNEST Cross-Cutting Activity 4, devoted to Lifelong Learning, launched by Spoke 9.
The course will delve into the transformative power of Digital Twins (DT)—virtual replicas of physical systems that enable real-time monitoring, simulation, and optimization of industrial processes and products. Through an in-depth exploration of DT technologies—from fundamental principles to practical applications in various sectors, including marine environments—participants will gain valuable insights into how these can revolutionize industrial processes and contribute to sustainability.
The program of the course includes five sessions held over six weeks in Trieste, with options for online participation. Sessions will run from 30th September to 4th November, featuring expert-led discussions and hands-on learning.
Registrations for the course are open until 22nd September. To sign up and check further details, it is suggested to visit the course web page.
